During my time at in the special effects program at UNCSA, I was fortunate to receive training in the assembly and operation of LED volumes for virtual production. Below are some rigs we put together for various R&D projects and student films. These projects left me with a mechanical knowledge of LED screens, as well as a better idea of how to work with these screens as a practical FX technician.
